Ho Ho Hold on...it's Christmas in August in Bishkek

Another exciting day in Kyrgyzstan!  I headed off to record an inspirational message at a local radio station.  I did 15 minutes in English which will be translated into about five different languages and shot out over the radio waves and internet to many around this part of the world.  I was gentle on the translators and used very few "Sammyisms".

Then we were taken to deliver some boxes from Samaritan's Purse "Operation Christmas Child".  These were delivered to a "Blind Society" in Bishkek.  There are two apartment buildings that are strictly for families where either the mother or father is either blind or deaf.  So we arrived with the Wrights (pictured above - very awesome and cool family!)

A couple guys who impact these families on a regular basis got the parents and children together and the gifts boxes started to be handed out.  Charles and I got into the action.  It was awesome....and very well organized.

More adventures yet to come...Cannot wait until tomorrow!!
