Well blog followers, it's cold here!!! Since I've been back, there have been maybe 2 nice sunny days. The rest are filled with clouds, rain and "cold-ness".

Phil was MIA

That crazy monkey got a sniff of the jungle and he was gone! Then last night he comes swinging into the room and I began to chastise him for being gone. It was then that he told me that I had put my suitcase on top of him and that he could not get out until I moved my suitcase to begin packing to come home. He was hurt that I thought he had went back on his commitment to iam1ru. So...I apologized...gave him a hug and all is well. I told him the pineapple was not real but he did not care. Just being close to it was enough to keep him calm until I could get him a banana. :)

Overwhelmed....with gratitude

Shopping for soap for Lepers
Every day I am on the go to buy things to get ready to fulfill dreams. And it’s not just about going to one place and getting ALL that you, it’s more like going to one market to buy buckets to another to buy footballs and yet another to find a wheel chair. Nothing is ever in one place around here.  And then, it’s not just a quick drive from one spot to another’s hours and hours in traffic to get where you are going. Then when you finally get there, there are hundreds of people trying to buy the same exact thing that you want to buy. Crazy and tiring ...but at the same time a lot of fun!

Sherry's room? or the local market? Read to find out!

WOW I have not stopped since my return to Ghana...and now the time is quickly approaching for me to fulfill several more dreams that have been sponsored:  shoes & school uniforms for underprivileged kids like Zipporah and Ralph; school supplies for orphans;  a wheelchair for Isaac;  meals at school for  James and Patricia; glasses for Linda; and the big party at the Ho leprosarium.  Woohooo!!

8 year old uses birthday party to raise money for orphans

An 8 year old "princess" asked her mom if, instead of gifts for her birthday, she could ask for donations for orphan birthday parties.
