It was a packed day with the med and build teams working together at the same location. We kicked off our day with handing over the keys and dedication 8 homes to some very special families. Following the home dedications we headed back to the church site where the medical clinics were taking place.
By mid-afternoon we packed up the medical clinic and started to prep for the community block party for the kids. We had it all, cotton candy machine, games, face painting, and a 25 foot inflatable slide... the look on the kids faces as they entered the area was absolutely priceless.
When the party was over, the team again had the chance to be a part of something incredible. We handed out food and clothing to over 150 families. I'm not sure who was blessed more by this experience, the families or the team. Either way, it was incredible. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
